Case-Mate Hug

Compatible: iPhone 3G, 3GS
Retail Price: $89.99

A new protective case and charging pad for the Apple iPhone 3G and Apple iPhone 3GS that showcases the evolution of wireless power. Created to give iPhone users a more convenient way to charge, the design-forward Hug delivers power without cumbersome cords or adaptors – users simply slip their iPhone into the sleek Hug case and then place the phone onto the Hug charging pad.
Our Thoughts...
This is one of the best looking wireless charging setups. With a sleek look that almost reminds me of a sexy German Sports car, the Hug also proves to have a smart side that stops pulling power when the iPhone is fully charged. We expect this to be one the the popular setups for 2010.
Mobi Headphonies
Model: Headphonies
Company: Mobi Technologies, Inc. (www.getmobi.com)
Compatible: iPhone, iPod, Macbooks, laptops, Sony PSP, Nintendo DS...more
Retail Price: $24.95
Best Internet Price: NA
These ultra-portable 3-inch designer speakers feature thematic characters by various artists. Each one has a unique personality and attitude, but they all pump out the same amazing audio. Headphonies brings together the art scene, music scene, and everything fun in between.
Our thoughts...
These are some pretty cool little speakers with great character and design. They pushed out some pretty impressive sounds for such a small gadget. Not only will these receive some well deserved comments when they are sitting on your desk, but they will keep you nodding your head to your latest playlists.
OrigAudio Rock-it
Model: Rock-it and Fold n' Play Speakers
Company: OrigAudio (www.origaudio.com)
Compatible: iPhone, iPod, Macbooks, laptops, Sony PSP, Nintendo DS...more
Retail Price: $16 - $49.99
Best Internet Price: NA
The Rock-It portable vibration speaker system takes music from your device and generates it into vibration sequences. It sends those vibrations through the Rock-It "pod" which you can stick to any object. Simply press play on your device (iPods, MP3 players, mobile phones, laptops, etc.) and Rock-It will turn the object into a speaker.
The Fold n' Play Portable Speakers are eco-friendly, fold-able, self powered speakers. The portable 3" cube speakers can be sued with any audio device that has a headphone jack, and the slim, portable design allows them to slide easily into any laptop sleeve and won't take up added space in luggage.
Our thoughts...
OrigAudio displayed some pretty innovative products here. The portable speakers caught our attention with the hip designs. But were were even more impressed with the Rock-It (not to take anything away from the Fold n' Play speakers). They gave us a fascinating demo by placing the Rock-It on multiple surfaces and instantly turning it into a speaker (plastic bottle, shoebox, and more...). COOL!
